Alien Invasion, The
Just a while ago, the human beings were threatened by perhaps the biggest menace to their survival on Earth ever: an invasion of aliens from an unknown planet.
It’s known that those aliens came from a planet in Milky Way, traveling in colony-ships and running away from the lack of resources and overpopulation on their home planet.
A lot of those ships made their way to hyperspace in many directions, and, during the year 245 after the Last War, one of these ships reached our Solar System.
The aliens hid on the planet Mars while they studied the human civilization. Mars was already being colonized, but only on a few sites, thus the presence of aliens could never be noticed until the attacks started.
The alien attacks started on year 312aW, and their technology was superior the human’s technology.
The humans were able to counterattack when a brave young man named Sirey recovered the lost project of the robot Teenook, which was being developed by the times of the Last War. The robot was built and thus the aliens were crushed.

Apolo-11
Apollo-11 is the name of the first manned mission to land on the Moon, in 1969aC. The first human colony outside Earth, the city Apollo-11, was built close to the landing site of the spaceship Eagle.

Bio-Bi
The most known residential city, Bio-Bi was famous for the beauty of its parks and houses. Located south of Tot-Ho, it was the first city destroyed by the aliens’ attacks.

Blue Crystals, History of
On year 3 before the Last War, a huge deposit of a strange type of rock was accidentally found, 120 kilometers below Earth’s surface.
A famous physicist named Mart E. Lotta studied the properties of that rock, which was called blue crystal, due to its colour.
The blue crystal could resist high temperatures, it was very hard and was such a nice conductor of light that it was used on laser-based weapons for some time. The project of robot Teenook included blue crystals.
During the Last World War, the only pieces of blue crystal used above the surface were destroyed or lost.
It is known, however, that the original deposit of the rock, close to the city of Rapo, wasn’t completely explored, and it may still have blue crystal deposts even today.
As an homage to blue crystals, a monument is being built close to the city of Rapo.

Blue Crystals, Composition of
Many studies were made about the composition of blue crystals, and it’s been found that the structure is purely carbonic, just like the diamond.
Being that the blue crystals are even rarer than diamonds, the most accepted theory is that blue crystal is an evolution of the diamond, the same way diamond is an evolution of common carbon.
High pressures and temperatures found in Earth’s core may have created the blue crystal.
Scientists already tried to produce blue crystals artificially from diamonds, but there was no machine that could produce enough pressure, and the result was a substance with properties between diamond and blue crystal.
Until now, it was impossible to artificially simulate the pressure and temperature of the Earth’s core. The possibility of using Jupiter’s atmosphere for that is being studied.

Boats and Sailing
Even though fast rockets can take people from one city to another in a few minutes, sailing is still very common, especially for leisure and sightseeing.
It’s not hard to have your own small boat. With the boat’s structure, which you can find easily, you’ll need a motor and a battery to generate power. A tool is also need to assemble those parts.

Comics
Kind of reading that had its big development after the Second World War.
Made of images (usually drawings) and text (usually inside balloons pointing to the character), comics were one of the most consumed products after the Last War, during a time of world depression.

Europa
Jupiter’s satellite Europa has a surface with no craters and a non-vertical surface, which makes it very unusual. Europa’s surface is basically frozen water, covering oceans that can be 50 kilometers deep.
There is a possibility that Europa, just like Io, can be internally active (on a smaller scale, however).

Food and Drinks
Transgenic food and woda are part of humans’ nutrition.

God, Religion and
On the centuries before the Last War, and especially in centuries after Christ, religion was one of the main practices of humans.
Varying from region to region, religion’s adoring target was a supreme being, creator of all, called God.
A few years before the Last War, religion was already losing strength with the advance of science.
After the ethnic cleansing of War, one of the most disgraceful of mankind history, religion still tried to be innovated and globalized, as happened with language, money and many sciences, with no success.
The time of Peace and the beginning of Introspection drove the human mind to itself and refuted religion.

Human Language
After the Last World War and the disgraceful ethnic cleansing, a new global language was established, called human language. The vocabulary of human language came from many other existing languages, especially Latin and Slavic.
The grammar also became universal, being practically a brand new grammar.

Io
Discovered in 1610aC, the moon Io of planet Jupiter is the only celestial body in the Solar System, besides Earth, that has volcanic activity, and is even more active than Earth itself.
Volcanoes are periodically active because Io is subjected to the tides created by Jupiter’s intense gravity.
Io is made of thousands of volcanic cauldrons with dark rocky ground connected by a shiny red matter, creating many lakes of lava.
Dioxide of sulfur is the main compound of the clouds, which freeze quickly and fall back to the surface as snow.

Islands
The sea level rose a few centimeters with the Last War, but the end of the greenhouse effect and the stable weather minimized that advance.
However, some regions that used to be a large mass of land were flooded, and became islands.

Jupiter, Atmosphere of
The Solar System’s largest planet also attracts attention because of its colorful atmosphere, made of colored latitudinal brands, clouds and storms, and also very deep, probably covering the entire planet.
Deep inside Jupiter, the pressure is so strong that hydrogen atoms are broken.

Last War
The years prior to the Last War were marked by instability in the global scene, politically, financially and psychologically. While some nations developed quickly, others were getting poorer by not following the developments.
The financial market was savage and brought more and more instability with the economy’s globalization. Discontent was seen and a world conflict was imminent, which ended up as what is called the Last World War.
That war is called "Last" due to the true goals that led to it. Many reasons were given at the time, but ethnic cleansing was the real goal of the more powerful nations that joined.
Earth’s population of many billions was decimated and reduced to only 1.5 billion people at the end of the War.
A new politic was established worldwide, as well as new financial, linguistic and governmental standards, everything being structured to give a new light to humanity. That new time was called Peace time, and it goes on until today.
The society that exists today, despite being highly developed and still at Peace, carries in its history the disgraceful cowardice of the world leaders from the Last War times.

Mars, Viking-1
In 1976aC, probe Viking-1 landed on Mars, opening room to the colonization of the second celestial body of the Solar System. In the years before and after the Last War, not much was invested in Mars, and the buildings there were lost.
New missions started to visit the red planet in the first centuries after the Last War, and a few bases are being built. Viking-1 is also the name of the central base on Mars.
The future of Mars colonization is unknown, as most of the bases were destroyed during the aliens’ invasion and many humans were killed in the colonies.

Medicine
The science that takes care of the body’s health is probably one of the oldest ones known and developed by human beings.
Before the Last War, there used to be very serious epidemics and diseases, but with the ethnic cleansing that assassinated billions of humans, those problems were also exterminated.

Mom-Ho
Chosen as the new cultural center after Nereeh was destroyed during the aliens’ invasion, Mom-Ho begins to get ready for its new life and a new beginning to mankind.
Scientists are finding their new center in Mom-Ho, a city that used to be only residential, but now it shall have its own market and its technology grown.

Money
Our money used nowadays was conceived after the Last World War, globalizing the monetary unit to Gold.

Moon, Base Dod-Ho
Base Dod-Ho is close to the city of Apollo-11 on Moon, and its function is to filter the water supplied to that region.
The process of filtration consists of collecting water from the artificial lake built on the Moon’s surface, filtrating dust and distributing it to the neighboring bases and cities.

Moon, Luna-2
Luna-2 is the name of the first human artifact to reach the Moon's surface in 1959aC, created by an aggregate of nations called the Soviet Union. Nowadays it's the name of one of the colonies on the Moon. It's located to the east of the Serenity Sea.

Nereeh
The city Nereeh used to be at a small island in the middle of the ocean. Nereeh was always the cultural center, giving home to scientists and scientific events. It was destroyed during the aliens’ invasion.

Oovh
Small industrial city north of Mom-Ho, known for the market of motors.

Peeh
Located to the west of Tot-Ho, Peeh can be described as a commercial city.

Polygon Cloth
Built from ultra-resistant fibers invented in year 13 before the Last War, the Polygon cloth was never used in large scale due to its high cost.
Polygon is still used in some regions, but only on special clothes. The project of robot Teenook included Polygon cloth as covering.

Prison System
Despite the times of Peace and Introspection that came after the Last War, a few crimes still happen.
Extremely different from the jail system of the centuries before the War, the prison nowadays consists on a re-learning program.

Propellers
Tot-Ho is the city that nowadays develops the technology for propellers, either fuel or zero inertia.
The zero inertia consists of a propulsion system that acts over all the atoms of a body, in a way that no tension is produced during acceleration.
The studies on zero inertia started to show some results on years before the Last War, and the propulsion was finally reached on 212aW.

Psychology
Science that had its big development after the Last War, when the Introspection time was established.

Rain and Snow
Right after the Last War, Earth’s atmosphere became polluted and poisoned for a few years.
However, with the new civilization and the smaller urban centers, the pollution decreased and the global weather, which was already altered during the centuries before the War, became stable.
Strong rains are common in summer, and light rains in winter. In this region, snow isn’t common.

Rapo
Small industrial city placed at the region of Tot-Ho and Peeh.

Sex
It’s good.

Space station
During the exploration of space, humans built many stations in orbit. After the Last War, with the time of Peace and the union between nations, the overall number of stations started to decrease; however, the ones that were built were more complete and complex.

Spaceships and Rockets
The vehicles used to travel in space are usually divided in two types: those for transport of cargo, and of humans.
The ships that take humans to the Moon and Mars have zero inertia propellers. Only larger cargo ships also have that kind of propulsion.
Usually smaller cargo sent to the Moon and Mars go in smaller rooms, basically equipped with protection and a fuel-based propeller.
Studies on cargo propellers take place in Tot-Ho and are tested in space stations.

Teenook, History of
In year 1 before the Last War, a scientist of an extinct European Union called Edros Setti conceived a project for a war robot-machine that used pieces of blue crystal.
That robot would be made of a skeleton with an integrated logical circuit, using blue crystals to shoot lasers, and covered with Polygon cloth.
The robot Teenook was never produced by that time, except as a prototype in its own laboratory.
The Last War was already starting and for a long time it’s been thought that the project was lost forever, until it was recovered during the aliens’ invasion and Teenook was rebuilt.

Tot-Ho
Large industrial city, Tot-Ho is the home of the propeller factory that supplies the world market. It’s also one of the main scales in routes of ships and rockets.

Video-screen
Equipment of sound, image and feeling that appeared as a substitute to radio (only sound) and television (sound and image).

Weapons
During the time of Peace that was established after the Last War, the weapons belonging to all the planet’s nations started to be disassembled or destroyed.
In the beginning, a few countries destroyed their weapons by their own choice. In the year 2aW, the Peace time became official and all weapons of war were abolished.
However, during the recent alien invasion, the lack of weapons almost led humankind to extermination.
Even with the end of the invasion, some producers started to build personal weapons, claiming that many enemies are attacking on the fields outside the cities.

Woda
Developed in year 10 before the Last War, woda is a dark-colored drink, made basically of water, with nutrients and vitamins that are essential to the human body. It ended up taking the place of water itself as basic drink.
