Mar.23.2007No one can complain now: the map section of A 3ª Jornada now has a PDF file that you can download to your computer, print and easily find your way. The file has 9 pages and includes maps for all mazes.
Mar.09.2007Is there a bigger compliment to a series’ creator than fans making fan-games? Pedro Henrique used a game creation tool to build Sirey’s War, a 1945 shooting game style. The link is http://d.turboupload.com/d/1558011/Guerra_de_Sirey.exe.html. And the kid doesn’t seem to stop with only that!
Jan.14.2007Another one from the fans: A Jornada series reaches Wikipedia, the free web encyclopedia. Click here to access the main page and, from there, read the other topics. The coolest thing about Wikipedia is that, if you think that a topic needs improvement, you can add your own text.
Dec.28.2006Sometimes some fans write saying that they got lost in the moon Paradise“s cave, where they should find the plate on the wall. FKM has always wondered if that happened because the maze is too difficult or because there“s no map for the cave on this site. Well, there wasn“t, because now there is. As a christmas present, FKM posted the cave map for the Paradise“s cave. Merry christmas to you all and a happy 2007!
Dec.11.2006A long time has passed, but anyway... the Game Developers Portal (PDJ) publishes a fan magazine and FKM was interviewed about the Jornadas on the first edition. If you wanna take a look, visit www.pdj.com.br/pdjzine.
Nov.02.2006After a long time with no news, here’s a bad news that may actually please the fans: A 3ª Jornada is now free. At the game’s section you can download the complete game. If you have the demo version installed on your computer, you may install the full version over it and rest assured that your saved games won’t be erased. I mentioned this was a “bad news” because the full version sales were below the expectations. After 2 years of the game selling, only 43 people bought the complete version (click here to see a state distribution chart). The purpose of the selling was to gather money to produce a decent 4ª Jornada. Because that wasn’t possible, a new game sounds too far away, although there are plans. As a consolation, FKM made the complete 3ª Jornada available. Thank you for all those who bought the full version during this time, we love you!
Feb.26.2006It’s Carnaval, but the series’ fans never rest. Pasqualete created an Orkut community dedicated to the Jornada games. Way to go, Pasqualete! Join the community you too!
Feb.11.2006Raphael Santos, who’s a fan of the series, built a discussion board for those who want to chat, discuss, comment and ask questions about the series. The address is http://teenook.iforums.com.br. Get in touch!
Feb.01.2006Even though he’s still totally busy with the college, FKM started to gather the program for the A 1ª Jornada and “translate” it to Windows. Soon, the series’ first game will be remade to Bill Gate’s system. That doesn’t mean a new game coming, only a Windows version, because old DOS can be buggy. It means that the graphics, resolution, dialogs, it all should remain the same.
Apr.26.2005Who’d say, after so many time, that one could still find a bug in 2ª Jornada? But it’s there. It’s no big deal, it may happen when the city of Peeh is destroyed (which happens after the middle of the game) and the player still haven’t got the pizzeria leaflet (which should happen right at the beginning). So, new version online, v3.5. Why did it go from 3.11 to 3.5? Just because.
Feb.15.2005Moving to a new server, now with unlimited bandwidth. The site may get offline for a while.
Dec.08.2004New card sending mode, more simple.
Nov.19.2004Small changes in the site and game’s entries, showing a brief description of the series.
Oct.31.2004All right, folks, now you can send virtual cards with themes from the games to people you like or hate. The section is still experimental, more themes will be added in the future.
Oct.27.2004Now there’s an english version of this site. Welcome!
Oct.19.2004A version v3 of A 3ª Jornada? What a surprise! Actually there’s no big difference from the v2, which is still working. Basically what changes on this version is the normal or easy mode option (for those who think that the fights are a pain in the ass). Besides that, a full review of portuguese and english texts. All that was too many for only a new compilation, however FKM had doubts, thinking it was too few for a new version. But it ended up being version v3, anyway.
Sep.27.2004No big news, only a comparison box between the three games of the series (on global section).
Sep.13.2004That huge number of the compilation version was too complicated. From now on, instead of 2.0.0.5, the compilation version will be simply 5.
Sep.06.2004A few more bugs detected. Most of them are no problems for the game, but even so FKM fixed them and released on this site with a new compilation version. Because they’re small fixes, the official version is still v2; the compilation version is 2.0.0.4 (you can access your compilation version by clicking with the right button on the installed game shortcut and selecting “Properties”). Even though you can go on playing without problems, choose a new version every time it’s possible.
Aug.30.2004What glory and joy! Two good news.
First one: the site now has a guest book. Go there and sign it!
Second one: there’s already people buying A 3ª Jornada’s full version. Thanks, people, FKM loves you!
Aug.18.2004Version v2 of A 3ª Jornada is already available. In a few days, full version will be online too.
Aug.10.2004The site is on a new server, now with 15 Gb of transfer limit, which should be enough for a while. Soon, a guest book.
Aug.06.2004It was funny yesterday. FKM was examining the program, reading, re-reading, re-re-reading, he spent all his morning and just couldn’t find the goddam bug. Then he was having a shower and suddenly he realized what the problem was (that unselected “smooth animation”). That sounded like Archimedes! He almost left the shower all wet screaming “Eureka!”
Aug.05.2004That was taking too long! A few people related the game’s first bug, which happens only in some situations when character Hayd takes the video-screen and should change to another character. Good thing it’s still a demo version, FKM is fixing it (it seems to happen when you play with the “smooth animation” unselected). If you have problems like that, write.
Jul.30.2004Verion v1 (demo) of A 3ª Jornada is already available. That’s not the full version yet, which will come next month as v2. Version v will have translation into english and fixes of any portuguese errors or bugs. Send your opinions about the game’s demo!
Jul.29.2004A news that’s at the same time good and bad. Lotsa people people have visited the site and downloaded the games on this month of july, a record. However, they were so many that exceeded the traffic limit of “only” 4 Gb. FKM had to solve that problem and, because of that, the release of A 3ª Jornada was delayed to saturday. Saturday, right? Saturday, don’t miss it!
Jul.23.2004New site online. Demo version of A 3ª Jornada comes next week, probably on tuesday.
Jul.15.2004Back on work with A 3ª Jornada. Release probably will be at the end of month or beginning of august.
Jul.10.2004FKM is having tendon aches on right hand again, and that hurts like hell. But he was also anxious with the game’s finalization and a few other things. A break for recovery.
Jul.01.2004A 3ª Jornada is already on finalization process. It’ll probably be ready in 2 weeks.
Jun.20.2004Many people wrote to FKM asking if A 3ª Jornada is ready already, because they wished to play it during school vacations. The release should be in 2 months. FKM resents from not being able to release it on vacations.
